As a 501(c)(3) family-preservation nonprofit, Wright’s Heart of Hope Inc. offers family housing assistance in Hillsborough County through the programs below — each designed to provide emergency family support and housing stability resources so parents and children can remain safely together. Support depends on eligibility, available funding and program capacity.
Hope Housing Initiative
Supports families experiencing housing insecurity by connecting them with available housing-stability resources, trusted community referrals and future housing opportunities. Assistance depends on eligibility, available funding and program capacity.
Client Support Program
Connects families experiencing urgent hardship with available crisis-prevention support, essential resources and trusted community referrals. Assistance depends on eligibility, available funding and program capacity.
Family Stabilization Assistance
Provides limited, availability-based assistance with essential transportation expenses, including car payments, insurance, repairs or gas, when needed to help eligible families maintain employment and housing stability. Assistance depends on eligibility, available funding and program capacity.
Hearts of Hope Holiday Toy Giveaway
Each holiday season, Wright’s Heart of Hope Inc. hosts the Hearts of Hope Holiday Toy Giveaway so families enrolled in our programs don’t have to choose between a rent payment and a gift under the tree. Contact us to ask about current toy or supply donation needs.
Burroughs Landing Phase 1
Burroughs Landing Phase 1 is the first phase of Wright’s Heart of Hope Inc.’s housing development in Hillsborough County, created to give families exiting crisis a stable, dignified place to call home while they work toward long-term independence. This project is a direct extension of our Hope Housing Initiative, and we’ll share updates here as the work moves forward.
